An inspiration for her heritage and strength of character, Vaia Kozanas is a wonderful first-generation Greek American. Her parents taught her the value of hard work and the importance of honoring her Greek ancestry from an early age. Using these foundational principles as a map, Vaia set out on a path of personal growth that would eventually provide her moving memoir, “What Makes You Beautiful.”
Vaia expresses her profound conviction that genuine beauty is inherent in every person’s spirit, regardless of chronological age, in this moving piece. Everyone, from small children to elderly people, may find inspiration in her words to be themselves and to treat others with respect and compassion. Authenticity and variety are celebrated through Vaia’s tale, which demonstrates the importance of embracing one’s history.
Through heartfelt stories and inspiring messages, my work encourages children and teens to recognize the light within themselves and others. Blending imagination, empathy, and faith, I hope to nurture a generation that leads with kindness, confidence, and compassion.
